Adorable Drug Lord Turns Out to be Daughter of Prominent DEA Agent
A 19-year-old female college student has been arrested for operating a drug trafficking ring from her Texas apartment. While drug arrests happen every day in the United States, what makes this arrest newsworthy is that the woman, Sarah Furay, is the daughter of Bill Furay, head of the Drug Enforcement Administration in Beaumont, Texas.
According to Raw Story, Bill Furay made a name for himself with two major anti-drug operations in 2009 and 2010, “Operation Blood Loss” and “Operation Agent Orange,” respectively.
“You don’t see many drug traffickers retire,” he once told The Pearland Journal. “Either they end up in prison, or they end up dead.”
As reported on KCEN TV, a local news outlet in Central Texas, “officers found 31.5 grams of packaged cocaine, 126 grams of high grade marijuana, 29 ‘ecstasy’ tablets, methamphetamine and a 60 doses of a drug similar to LSD.”
Although hailed as “an adorable drug kingpin” for her mug shot smile, Sarah Furay faces three felony charges that carry a maximum sentence of 215 years in prison and up to a $30,000 fine.
