Another Canadian medical marijuana firm licensed to export

Aphria, a federally licensed medical marijuana cultivator in Canada, has been chosen to export product to Australian biotech company Medlab Clinical.

Medlab Clinical is conducting trials on the use of cannabis to manage pain in cancer patients, according to the Australian Associated Press, and will import a liquid blend of THC and CBD from Aphria for the testing. The product will be administered to patients via an oral spray.

Canadian MMJ companies increasingly have been tapping the export market.
