Puerto Rico medical marijuana dispensaries open

Medical marijuana dispensaries are open for the first time in Puerto Rico and poised to serve tourists visiting the island. The U.S. territory adopted regulations to allow for the cultivation, manufacturing and distribution of medical cannabis two years ago. And so far at least two dispensaries have opened their doors, according to the Associated Press. The news agency also reported that nearly 2,000 patients have signed up with Puerto Rico’s health department for MMJ.
